DISTURBED THEATRE CHASES BEARS FROM EASTHAMPTON BY STAGING “TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY DISTURBED: A LOVE STORY”
The City of Easthampton has been terrorized for months by 35 bears disguised as art. But fear not Easthampton your friendly neighborhood sketch comedy troupe, DISTURBED THEATRE, comes to your rescue when it plays a BENEFIT for the Performing Arts Center of Easthampton (PACE Theatre) on October 17th at 8pm. 7 years ago (almost to the day) DISTURBED THEATRE, opened the Performing Arts Center of Easthampton (PACE theater) with a benefit performance of it’s DO NOT DISTURB show. AND NOW writer/performer/producers ROB MURPHY, PETE CARLSON AND STEVE HENDERSON, will debut their all new show, “TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY DISTURBED: A LOVE STORY” IN A BENEFIT PERFORMANCE FOR PACE.
The trio is joined by CONNIE CASAGRANDE , who got her area start with DISTURBED THEATRE and more recently has performed with the Villa Jidiots and produced and stared in a production of “The Vagina Monologues”. There is no truth to the rumor she will be staging a sequel called “The Vagina Dialogues”.
After a long break working on individual projects, DISTURBED THEATRE is psyched to return to the stage and, with a FaceBook following of over 500 fans (http://www.facebook.com/DisturbedTheatre ) in 20 countries (ok mostly the US but still!), looks forward to restoring it’s crown as the Valley’s Premiere Comedy Troupe.
With all new sketches like Dating Blues (Blue Man dates Jewish Girl), and videos Like GPS (Sexy Navigation System) this faced paced show will be filled with surprises and is sure to underscore why DT is considered an innovator in Sketch Comedy. Tickets are $12, ($10 for members of PACE) and available at the PACE box office 413 527-3700.
