Arriving at an isolated gray stone Mansion on the windswept Cornish coast, the second Mrs. Maxim de Winter is introduced to her new life as the second wife of her handsome, mysterious husband. Every corner of every room in the immense and foreboding mansion contains the ghosts of a time dead but not forgotten –a past devotedly preserved by the sinister housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers.
