Stage Reading of New Musical About The Cardiff Giant
Posted by Gail M. Burns - November 2009
Don’t miss this staged reading of a new musical about the Cardiff Giant, one of the most famous hoaxes in U.S. history. The body of this New York State “prehistoric marvel” currently resides in the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. — but this coming Saturday the Giant will be brought back to life in Schenectady by through a clever story and engaging music by local playwright Kit Goldstein.
Featuring Bernard Allanson, Mike Benjamin, Laura Darling, Jeffrey Hocking, Colleen Lovett, Philip Matthei, Claire Nolan, Tony Pallone, Geri de Seve and many more. Musical direction by Rebecca Benjamin.
