Bazaar Productions Readies First Full Length Work
Posted by Gail M. Burns - December 2009
Bazaar Productions is delighted to announce that we have started developing our first full length work as an ensemble theater company n collaboration with MASS MoCA! Written by Iris Dauterman while participating in our own EarlyStages program at The Berkshire Fringe in 2008, The Waypoint is a play filled with wit, humor and a story that is both surprising and sublime.
Weaving rich narrative, magical realism and an original soundscore, the piece explores the epic and often unexpected journey into life. Beginning in January of 2010, our entire creative team will travel to North Adams to participate in a two-week residency at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). We cannot envision a more perfect environment to craft this extraordinary piece of theater than right here in our own backyard alongside an organization we so deeply admire.
We are thrilled to be joined by such an exeptional ensemble of artists and designers! Stay tuned for updates about this exciting new project!
