A Boon to Parents/Educators, TheatreTalk Gains Ground;

Schenectady, NY– Leveraging the ability of live performance to enrich and educate as well as to enliven and entertain, Proctors continues its popular and noteworthy initiative TheatreTalk, to bring added impact and value to its wide-ranging roster or arts and entertainment events.

Walking the Talk
The Henry Schaffer TheatreTalk series offers pre- and post-performance discussions led by Company artists who engage patrons in a unique forum about a specific performance or show. Participants get “insider” insights and anecdotes from cast and crew members, or from industry professionals.

With the TheatreTalk sessions, audience members are encouraged to ask questions about the artists, the repertoire, or a performance, therein creating a dynamic interaction calibrated to increase appreciation and awareness about a specific event at Proctors. The Henry Schaffer TheatreTalk series is free of charge to ticket buyers.

Proctors CEO Philip Morris is an enthusiastic supporter of the informal seminars. “The TheatreTalk series continues to enrich the experience of Proctors patrons; it offers them new perspectives and heightens the excitement of attending a live performance here. All of us at Proctors appreciate the enthusiastic support of the H. Schaffer Foundation and its commitment to enriching the cultural experiences of those who attend our shows.”
