BARRINGTON STAGE COMPANY TO HOLD LOCAL EQUITY PRINCIPAL AUDITIONS FOR 2010 PRODUCTIONS
February 22 and 23 from 1-5 p.m.

(Pittsfield, MA) February 9, 2010 – Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, and Producing Director Richard M. Parison, Jr., will hold local Equity Principal Auditions for its 2010 season on Mon., February 22 and Tues., February 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on both days for both its LOA and SPT productions: Art, Absurd Person Singular, The Crucible and the season opener Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Auditions will be held at Barrington Stage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield, MA. An accompanist will be provided.
Barrington Stage’s fall production of The Crucible is looking for one girl, 12 years of age, and two girls ages 15-18 years old.
Actors have the option to perform either a) a brief monologue, OR b) A brief song, OR c) 32 bars of a song and a one-minute monologue. Auditions will be held by appointment only by calling the Barrington Stage Administrative Office at 413-997-6105. Non-Equity performers will also be seen; for further information call the above number.
