WPTC hosts free event with songs from the new musical Saint-Ex.
The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company celebrates its fourth annual New Musical Award with a free concert of selections from its 2010 award winner, Saint-Ex, on Saturday, February 27 at 8pm. Written by Jenny Giering and Sean Barry, the show is inspired by the life of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (author of “The Little Prince”) and his relationship with his brother, his tempestuous marriage, and the conflict between his career as an aviator and his success as an author. The Broadway caliber cast for Saint-Ex features Alexander Gemignani, Joe Cassidy, Blythe Gruda, Price Waldman and Michael Winther. Matt Castle is Music Director. Tickets at westonplayhouse.org.
