Directed by Donald Mealy

“Four Short Comedies of Love & Romance,” will be presented as free staged readings at the historic Stockade District’s Schenectady Civic Playhouse, 12 So. Church Street, Schenectady, on Sunday, February 14, at 2:30 p.m. One performance only, it is part of this season’s series celebrating the Playhouse’s 82nd season.

The four short comedies, directed by Donald Mealy, explore such questions as: Is love at first sight really love at first sight?; (Famous pick-up lines) Is this seat taken?; (lost and found loves) Who’s to blame?; and (first date) Will there be a second date? The readings feature Capital District and frequent Schenectady Civic Players’ actors Sev Moro, Stephanie Insogna, Cristine Loffredo and Jennifer Van Iderstine.
Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free. No reservations needed.
