Mill City Productions Announces Details for Fundraiser, “Karaoke Uncorked” This fundraising event will feature multiple varieties of wine from various distributors, led by Mark Draper from Liquor Mart Wine, Spirits and Craft Beers. Bread and cheese samples from Cricket Creek Farm as well as other appetizers will be served and cabaret style entertainment will provide a backdrop for the first part of the night. A karaoke sing-off with a $100.00 grand prize, led by DJ Brian Flagg will round out the evening. Pre-registration for the sing-off is encouraged as space is limited. Karaoke Uncorked will support Mill City Productions’ 2010 Season, which will bring a variety of live arts programming to the Northern Berkshire Community. This 18+ event (21+ for wine tasting) will take place on Saturday, March 6 at The Holiday Inn of the Berkshires, 40 Main Street, North Adams. The wine tasting runs from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and the karaoke contest from 8:00-10:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $22 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in North Adams at Papyri Books and Mt. Williams Greenhouses, or in Williamstown at Where’d You Get That?!, or online at www.millcityproductions.org.
