Tanglewood Marionettes – Sleeping Beauty
April 5 – 10, 1, & 3:30

All have gathered in the great hall of King Felix for the christening of Princess Aurora, then the wicked witch arrives to curse the child. Will the curse come true? Will someone with a “true heart” appear to break the spell?

Roger the Jester
April 6 – 10:am & 1:pm

A fool for all reasons. When it comes to describing Roger the Jester, there are no words…none in his show either. There is no shortage of laughter, though. A veteran of Mummenschanz on Broadway, Roger uses props, his amazing physical skills, and the audience to make the rafters shake with laughter. Roger combines juggling, magic, accordion and his audience to create a theatre experience unlike any other you’ve ever experienced.

Silly Billy Magic
April 7 – 10:am & 1:pm

Wearing his trade-mark jumbo-sized glasses, Silly Billy combines great magic with lots of comedy. Get silly with Silly Billy! “A zany magician who lives up to his name.”

Silly Billy as Dr. Blood
April 7 at 3:30 only

Like it or not, some children love blood and guts. Dr. Blood taps into that with a magic show where all the tricks are bloody, gory, AND funny. Kids like to feel they are at risk, even when they know, deep down that they aren’t. Anyone who makes it through the show is rewarded with free stuff to scare and disgust their friends! Dr. Blood feeds into the whoopee cushion practical jokes that kids love. – New York Press

WARNING: Not recommended for kids younger than 7 – or owners of queasy stomachs.

Steamer No.10’s – Rumpelstiltskin
April 8 – 10:am & 1:pm

Our almost traditional tale of a miller’s daughter caught up in a tale of spinning straw into gold. When the King orders her to spin the straw she realizes only magic can save her. But, when the magical, maniacal, schizophrenic Rumpelstiltskin appears, she has not been saved but doomed. We were dubbed the Mad Scientists of Children’s Theatre for this show!

The Gizmo Guys
April 9 – 10:am & 1:pm

Precision juggling & comedy – how can you miss? Not exactly the right phrase for jugglers, but they seldom do – ask most of the folks invited on stage.
