Cohoes Music Hall Casting “Hairspray” and Musical “Christmas Carol”

C-R Productions at Cohoes Music Hall is currently casting HAIRSPRAY (Rehearses Sept. 18, opens Oct. 7-17), Ahrens/Menken version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL –THE MUSICAL (Rehearses Nov.13, opens Dec. 2-12). Auditions Wednesday July 28 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Seeking AEA and non-union performers. Especially seeking African American high school/college age singers for HAIRSPRAY, and all roles in A CHRISTMAS CAROL including children of all ages for the Cratchit children. Prepare 16 bars of appropriate song to sing. Casting all roles. If singing from the show, please bring your own sheet music. Accompanist provided. No calls please. Especially seeking African-American performers including principal roles of SEAWEED, and LITTLE INEZ (young girl, ages 12-15 with great voice) in HAIRSPRAY, and African-American and Caucasian high school and college students who sing well for all ensemble roles in HAIRSPRAY.
