“Chimps,” a radio show by Gregory Barrett about the Scopes Monkey Trial, will be recorded live Jan. 29 at 2 and 7 p.m. in the red room at Converse Hall on the Amherst College campus.
Directed by Peter Lobdell, the radio plays revolves around what happens when a struggling town hatches a plan to get itself back on its feet, but winds up attracting more attention and controversy than it bargained for.
Admission is free. No reservations required.
