Louison House/Family Life Support Center is having a big fund raiser – “The Not Too Far From Home Comedy Tour Benefit” with Aaron David Ward, Deric Harrington, and Dave Andrews – Saturday, January 28 at 9:00pm at the Bounti-Fare Restaurant, 200 Howland Avenue (Rt. 8 ) in Adams, MA.
There will be a DJ and dancing after, too! And the is NO football this night!
Warning: this event is NOT for the kiddies!
Just a few facts on the Louison House.
This is the ONLY shelter for the homeless in Northern Berkshire County. For homeless people, this is crucial, as it allows them to stay in their own community near the family & other supports, as well as the service agencies that assist them–not to mention jobs that they might have or are seeking, and the kids can be near their schools.
Half of all the folks that stay in the shelter are FAMILIES.
20% of the of those that stay at the shelter are CHILDREN.
